New Beginnings: Hunayn’s Signature Perfumes Now in 30ml.

At Hunayn, each bottle is a story. With time, stories evolve and so do our creations.

We’re excited to announce that all current perfumes will now be available in 30ml bottles, each limited to just 150 pieces. These aren’t permanent retirements ingredients aren’t the reason. It’s about time, focus, and creative direction. Some may return. Others may not. But each version is a moment captured.

Here’s a look at how some of our iconic perfumes are changing:

Duty & Death

The dark, brooding signature remains - but this version walks a slightly different path.
Indonesian tigerwood oud now replaces the Malaysian oud.
Rosa damascena has been substituted with the more nuanced Rosa raduga absolute.
The smoky elements—choya nakh, choya loban, choya raal, cade, birch tar—have been slightly softened to allow Red Hojari oil to take the spotlight.
A subtle shift. A deeper burn.

Silk Dunes

Previously marked by the earthiness of shamama, this perfume now steps into a more refined balance.
Shamama has been removed.
The contrast between sun-warmed sand and twilight calm is clearer now, allowing the dunes to breathe and the horizon to stretch further.

Abi Roya

This is still a perfume of lotus dreams, but now they bloom even louder.
The top notes have been toned down.
The lotus accord has been amplified dramatically, grounding the fragrance in even more ethereal terrain.

Asubuhi

This one’s personal. Originally created in honour of Mombasa, it’s now become the heart of Hunayn’s journey.
The creamy green tuberose is now more centred than ever.
It rests on a bed of hand-chosen florals that express home, memory, and rebirth.
We believe this is the best version yet.

Melati Gaharu

Often asked about, this perfume remains familiar, but with a twist.
We’ve added floral “cousins” to jasmine, pushing the boundaries of the floral profile.
The ouds used are wilder, more varied, and more expressive than before.

Bakkah

Some things are already perfect. No changes.

Jardin de Musc

Our tribute to florals and deer musk gets even richer.
The scent is unchanged in composition.
But it’s now made at 100% concentration, with no solvents.
The result? An experience that feels like bathing in French-style musk and blooms, more intense, more intimate, and more luxurious.
